"Public Exit Interview Comments?"

Interesting to read Officer Paul Gamble's parting comments upon leaving the Fort Scott Police Department in tonight's paper...

"Gamble said the Police Department suffers from low morale, which is directly related to low pay and lack of equipment. Gamble said there's a lack of "continuing management and leadership skills" from both inside the department and officials in City Hall." -excerpt from Fort Scott Tribune, 7-22-05.

I wonder what the City Commissioners feel about that? Here's an opportunity for accountability of the Administration and learning from an insider from the Department. I just wonder if the Commission will feel that since Officer Gamble is "opinionated" that he too is one of the people who should "just leave town." (See story below...)
